It has various fire department related lights and decals. This thing looks so awesome, I’m mounting it to the bumper and I’ll have a siren now. It’s going to be awesome. Review: This is a very nice little unit - This is review of Vixen Horns Loud 110dB Electric Motor Driven Horn/Alarm/Siren (Air Raid) Small/Compact Red 12V VXS-9050C (sometimes desertcart mixes reviews so I clarify). This is a very nice little unit. Fully mechanical, no electronics involved, the motor spins a blade that makes a wh-a-a-a-h-h-h sound. It takes a few seconds to spin up, starts off slow and quiet and revs up to a high pitch scream. The DC motor runs on a wide range of voltage, as low as 2-3 volts for gentle noise, or kick it up to 20+ for extra loud (though I don't know how long it would last at that higher voltage). It takes about 1 Amp at 12V. This "old school" mechanical siren is a fun repose from modern electronic sirens. It is a relatively small unit, and while you can hear it a block away OK, it isn't loud at that distance. Pretty effective in 50' radius or so. ## Features - SUPER LOUD 12V MINI SIREN - Despite the size, this siren produces a LOUD and POWERFUL sound with a range of 100 meters and beyond. The sound, universally recognized as an emergency warning, is an effective attention-getter. Check the images for a sound clip video - HIGH QUALITY CONSTRUCTION - Housing is made of durable and strong metal material which has been chrome-plated for an additional layer of protection against rust. A heavy duty ABS sensitive motor allows the alarm to be triggered fast and ensures many years of dependable service - ADJUSTABLE ANGLE - The angle of the siren can be adjusted vertically for mounting flexibility and to point the sound exactly where you want it - VERSATILE USES - The siren can be activated using a manual switch or it can be installed as part of an alarm system - EASY INSTALLATION - Installation is done very easy by hooking up the two wires to the power source and attaching the base to the surface with only two screws. Clear instructions are provided. Total weight: 0.8 lb. It's not really loud enough to scare more than maybe a trespassing cat. It's novelty, however, is pretty much spot on! It sounds just like an old school air raid siren(as long as the fins are not bent and rubbing on the case) just not nearly as loud. **Q: I want to attach this to my beach cruiser bike, what would be the best power source other than a huge 12v battery? Anyway I can use smaller batteries?** A: I’m not sure how many amps it uses but you can get away with a smaller 12v Li ion battery 3000mah will do it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s so tiny and looks so good. *by M***E on September 23, 2026* Okay, so I don’t have this thing hooked up yet. Works exactly as a siren, but not for an actual emergency vehicle. They are 20 times the size of this siren here. I've tied two of them to my alarm, now it sounds like a couple 12 year olds crying.. definitely gets attention, so I guess it works🤷‍♀️ ## Frequently Bought Together - Vixen Horns Loud Electric Motor Driven Horn/Alarm/Siren (Air Raid) Small/Compact Chrome 12V VXS-9060C - Twidec/16MM Raised Speaker Horn Momentary Push Button Switch 5/8" Mounting Hole 12V Green Led Light Silver Stainless Steel Shell 1NO 1NC SPDT with Pre-Wiring Wires Switch for Car Modification G16LB-G - Vixen Horns Loud Electric Motor Driven Metal Alarm/Siren (Air Raid) 12V Gray VXS4006 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/28924857-vixen-horns-12v-electric-air-raid-siren-mini-motor-driven](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/28924857-vixen-horns-12v-electric-air-raid-siren-mini-motor-driven) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
