Review: TC Electronic, customizable to a insane level. - So I just play at home these days, but am always looking for something to helps me with my looping and recording, all just for creative outlet. So this makes a decent fake twelve string sound, and a bass to sound like an organ...I couldn't help but start playing "Take Me Out To the Ballgame" immediately. The real selling point though is the tone print feature, so download the application on your phone or computer and you can download many different presets (only on on the pedal at a time). On the computer application the amount of customization is almost ridiculous. I will never get that much into it, but I know folks who might never get around to playing as they would have to tweak everything over and over. The sound, this is a pedal that used right sounds nice, go easy, no really, many smaller amps won't appreciate the sub 2, especially on a bass with a low b, really not much use at that point. Battery. Ok folks, back in the day of simple 1970's pedals, and some of the simpler pedals, a 9v is fine, with the feature loaded TC pedals, just stick with an ac adapter. I use the cheap SPOT, and have had fine success, using it with an a/b switch, four TC pedals, and a looper. No Buzz. Would I say that this is THE pedal to get, nope, I would use it as a nice little tool, I like it fine, I have zero complaints, but those listening might if you use this thing on every song. I currently have it after a Mojo pedal, before the Helix and HOF2. Oh, and it is really amusing with a microphone! (like that is uber creepy man!)
Review: A Great Choice for an Octave Pedal - We added a song that required an octave effect and I thought I would give this a try since I have had such great results with all of the TC electronic purchases I have made so far. Right off the bat, I was really impressed with the tone and options of this pedal. I was able to dial in a very usable and cool sound instantly. The tone is far superior to the MXR slash octave pedal that I had also tried, which I did not like at all. The toneprint option is very cool, you can really dial in the specifics for your particular rig and save it as a tone print, or try the many available tone prints from other artists and/or players that are available. Great Tone and outstanding flexibility make this an awesome choice for any guitarist looking for a quality octave pedal. FYI. I placed this as part of the input signal going into my Marshall head. It reacts great with a tube head in a high gain or clean situation.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Great Choice for an Octave Pedal

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pedal, EATS batteries
*by C***R on September 24, 2019*

I bought this pedal after discovering the Tone Print options available. It sounds great and is easy to dial in nice tones. BUT, it EATS batteries, I've use it on a pedal board for over a year with an AC power supply and had no issues. I took it off the board to use it as a stand alone and with a brand new battery installed, it did not last two sets. I'll never trust it with a battery again.
