Both fit. Both work. I've been using the Quicksilver version for years on a 4-stroke Mercury 50 EFI. So far, so good. Hope this helps. **Q: Does this fit my 240hp mercruiser jet boat engine...2004 sugar sand sole?** A: There pretty standard and my guess is yes but i would cross reference the number with a dealer **Q: Will this fit my 3.7 litre mercruiser alpha one** A: I do not know, Mine is separate off the tank for an outboard motor that was installed by a dealer. The filter will tell you what size threads match the system, if it fits it will work. Your manual will tell you what size you need or look at your old filter and type in the serial # for the correct match. BTW my filter is on a 90 HP Evinrude outboard. **Q: I have twin 5.7s 2006 350 mpi horizons. Will this filter fit?** A: I would think so . Here again tons of info on the internet. A lot of the info looks like it's right out of the mercruiser manuals. ## Frequently Bought Together - Quicksilver 802893Q01 Water Separating Fuel Filter for Mercury and Mariner Outboards and MerCruiser Stern Drive and Inboard Engines - Quicksilver 866340Q03 Oil Filter for MerCruiser Sterndrive and Inboard Engines - Quicksilver by Mercury Marine 25W-40 Marine Engine Oil --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/288921018-quicksilver-802893q01-water-separating-fuel-filter-for-mercury-and-mariner](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/288921018-quicksilver-802893q01-water-separating-fuel-filter-for-mercury-and-mariner) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
