I purchased for my 6 year old grandson and it's too fragile for any real playtime with it. If he were to pull back with any strength, it seems as if it'll break. It's cute, it's rustic, and I believe would be more suitable for children 3-5 maybe with some assistance of course to pull back on the arrow but it doesn't take much brute strength to do so, more stability and coordination which is why I suggest assistance for the younger age group.
