At the time I wore 36W but these were so tight I had to purchase a 38W for them to fit. I wear a belt and do not sag my pants, going up 2 sizes in the waist is my recommendation. Theses pants are made abroad where physically most men are built smaller, I believe this is why! Now I'm down to 34W again and nearing a 32W, so Im very skeptical about making a purchase without trying another pair on first. I don't know if I'd need anywhere between 34W-36W as of yet? It's unfortunate there's not a more standardized form of global measurement to go by. Without the option of prime wardrobe in the size I may need, I'll have to get off my lazy bum and find another store that carries them.... Which may take a lifetime! **Q: Ate these pants the "riggs" style?** A: The material is definitely lighter weight and there is no Cordura in the back pockets. They do have the leather pocket protector like the other types of Riggs pants. They are more like a traditional pant/slacks than the carpenter jeans.
