Review: Absolutely amazing!!! - I have EDS, so I have extra collagen in my entire body. While that may sound nice thanks to lack of wrinkles, it isn’t so nice when it comes to my joints. I’m hypermobile, and so for a long time I would do party tricks by popping joints out of socket. This caused major wear on specific joints; I also just have overall crappy joints due to the extra collagen, but a few are especially bad. I loved doing yoga with my mom as a kid, and when my doctor recommended I do yoga to see if it helps with my joint stability, I was all for it. Even if it didn’t do much for my joints, I had a nice excuse to get a yoga mat and other supplies. I had a different mat picked out originally, but then I saw this one and thought “oh my gosh this perfect”. Added it to my cart and bought it without a second thought. It took about a week for it to arrive, and I was so excited when I opened it up!! I’ve used it daily the last few days, and I am in love with it. The texture is the perfect amount of grip without feeling sticky like some other mats, and the stretches and poses on it are wonderful. The poses/stretches are very detailed and easy to replicate, and all the poses are labeled, which was wonderful for me to relearn the names as I haven’t done yoga in years. If you’re thinking about getting a yoga mat, get this one!! On top of just the mat being completely wonderful, it is actually helping with my joints!! It’s obviously not a miracle for me as I will have a life long disorder, but it definitely helping with the pain and with my joints not subluxing and dislocating as much, and it’s only been a few days!!
