It's easy to distinguish, as the water soluble formula says so on the bottle. If you order from Arcata Pet and ensure the order is fulfilled by Arcata Pet, NOT Amazon, we are only shipping the water soluble version. **Q: Can this be mixed in their drinking water?** A: yes, but must be “chlorine free water”. i sprinkle it onto soft food most often, but in water works too **Q: How many pills in the bottle? How big are the pills? 100 gram 3.5 oz bottle** A: This is in powder form and must be mixed into moist food.
