The only downside is that if you have your IPAD in a case, you'll have to remove it in order for the IPAD to fit.I have a 4th gen IPAD and it was in an otterbox. I removed the plastic backing that also holds the IPAD upright and makes the IPAD + case a lot thinner. It was a tight squeeze but be careful not to force or you'll tear the waterproof case!
