It is simply a sheet of silicone that lays across the top of the keyboard. It has absolutely zero shaping it is simply a thin flat rectangle of silicon. You could tear off a sheet of saran wrap and put it on your keyboard with better results. **Q: Will this for the Logitech K800 keyboard?** A: you need to get the dimensions from the manufacturer. I've over time decided just to leave it on all the time because I got used to it. I just dumped an entire glass of water directly on my keyboard for the first time in my life, and the keyboard came out bone dry except a couple drops on the back plastic side that I was able to just wipe off with a towel. The Protector did its job well. I bought this cover because I can't replace the now-shredded cover that came with my keyboard since the keyboard doesn't appear to be sold anymore. I was unable to find one with fitted keys that worked with this keyboard, which still works perfectly well, so I needed something that would still work with it. I work from home and eat lunch at my desk often, so I keep it mostly covered when typing to prevent snack crumbs or spilled drinks from damaging my keyboard. This cover still allows me to type fine while it's on, but if I'm not eating/drinking, and I'm typing quite a lot, I'll be removing it, unlike my previous cover, because it's a little thicker, and my fingers fatigue faster with it on. I can still see the keys decently well through it when it's on, although it's definitely not clear, and better when I turn on the backlit keys. It's a good size and seems sturdy.
