While these are not higher quality American optics they are also not the price which can be double or triple the cost. Overall these work fine for most hobby lasers under a 100 watts. Keep them clean and free from dirt and buildup and they will do the job. I like this focal length on my laser as it an in between lens. Still has a small enough spot size for engraving anything I would do and yet it is .5" further focal point which helps on cutting since the beam does not defocus as fast from the prime focal point as the cut gets deeper. Just a good do all lens size for most people.
