They have never had fleas before but wanted to switch to a different collar for cost reasons. I bought these and was very happy with the ease of use, no smell and functionality on their necks with other collar. With that being said I was super disappointed that they were supposed to last a year and it’s only been 5 months and I found fleas on my dogs. This is not something that has ever happened so I was shocked.
