Review: Powerful but switch buttons fiddly - It's a beast with a large battery pack. It's heavy for a headtorch but that's ok as the balance is good. It's very powerful. My main criticism is that the buttons to turn on and off etc are small and fiddly and take some getting use to.

**Q: Is the red light of usable strength? Is it a spot or flood light? I want it for beach fishing but Ledlenser support tell me they don’t know ?**
A: The red light is ok but I’d say no use for navigating with. It’s a flood light you can’t focus a beam with this item. But still a damn good torch

This is the 3rd ledlenser head torch I have purchased. The H19R is excellent, I use it for fishing, and walking the dog early in the morning, when the nights draw in.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Prefect in extreme conditions

Bought this as I hate having the battery pack on the headband, especially in cold weather where the battery can die faster due to sub zero temps. I purchased the extension cable so I could have the battery either inside the top of my backpack or inside my down jacket internal chest pocket. Being able to have the battery placed remotely also reduced the weight on your head drastically. The torch it's self is fantastic, really amazing construction and a good number of different settings for various light levels and also a red light mode (which you can also change brightness level). High intensity mode is insane, ive lit up entire trails and half a mountainside with it during a search for a lost/injured person. The battery life is great and being able to swap in a new battery is perfect as I can just carry extra batteries instead of waiting for it to recharge. I have also upgrade the batteries to the Bluetooth versions so I can change the light mode and set the button mode presets to exactly what I want. I've used this in some pretty severe weather, the lowest temp I've been in since purchasing it was -23°c and with the batter pack inside my down jacket I had no issues at all. Not had any issues with it being completely soaked in torrential rain. Overall I'm really impressed, ive always liked Ledlenser products and this is now the 5 torch ive bought from them over 10 years and they all still work.
