This company does make and Amazon does sell an aluminum strip that is designed for the top of doors. Aluminum finish is fine. **Q: I am confused by the photos. Our door opens inward zero wiggle room. Does the inside (underneath) have a little ledge to it also or just the curve?** A: This item may need to be cut to the width of the door. It will also need to be installed about an inch above the bottom of the door. **Q: Can this be attached to a metal security door?** A: I mounted mine onto metal clad patio doors with no problem, drilling each pilot hole carefully. Requires cutting to fit most doors. A Dremel with a Cut-off wheel for metal works nicely.Applying calk to the back when mounting ensures a watertight seal. My preference is DAP Dynaflex, as it's more durable than other forms of calk, including 100% silicone. After years of trying this kind or that, Dynaflex is now the only kind of calk I ever buy–period. Also, when using any sort of sealant/calk/etc, ensure the surfaces are very clean. Isopropyl alcohol is preferred, as it cleans well and leaves no residue, unlike many common household cleaners.When mounting, ensure there is clearance wherever the door will swing. You might want to use a couple small strips of duck tape to hold it in place until it's permanently attached.There was a big thunderstorm here today. Not a single drop made it inside the front door.
