I was looking for a collapsible paddle that would float but didn’t want a leash or attach a floaty. Tested this replacement paddle in our pool. The first picture shows the paddle remaining above water after more than 2 minutes. The second paddle is after holding the paddle underwater for one minute. If it is under water bubbles will emerge from fittings. The last picture with only handle floating is after holding it under for two minutes. I suspect a shot of foam in the ends would allow it to float for hours. I am happy with the floatation aspects of the paddle without any modifications.
