I only wanted to connect my guitar via the M-Audio interface with Garage Band on my MacBook (or alternatively on iPad) for amplification purposes. It will also cater for vocals by microphone if needed. I include a cheap portable speaker connected by 1/4" cable to complete the mix. M-Audio is a game changer.
