Review: Good not great - I live in one of the most humid countries ever and have been hearing a lot about this gel. Based on my experience the gel does a great job at casting and protecting the hair . I was only disappointed that there is very minimal hold, my curls looked very loose and that’s Something I personally value a lot. I tried to add more gel thinking I didn’t use enough but that just wasn’t the case for me nothing changed . I want to point out that I didn’t use any other product from the same brand with this gel . That might play a role in my experience as I just used another curl cream following by the ouidad gel . Overall it’s a decent gel does the job however I just wish it had way more hold considering how pricy it is .

I live in one of the most humid countries ever and have been hearing a lot about this gel. Based on my experience the gel does a great job at casting and protecting the hair . I was only disappointed that there is very minimal hold, my curls looked very loose and that’s Something I personally value a lot. I tried to add more gel thinking I didn’t use enough but that just wasn’t the case for me nothing changed . I want to point out that I didn’t use any other product from the same brand with this gel . That might play a role in my experience as I just used another curl cream following by the ouidad gel . I believe this is the best gel ever for curly hair. It’s fool-proof. You can apply as much as you want. Very light weight and doesn’t weigh down fine curls. It controls the frizz amazingly and when it dries completely, just give it a lil scrunch ALL over and your hair will look so natural and have all the movement. The scrunch after it dries also brings the volume back. You will look like you were “born this way”.
