Review: I bought this set about 2 years ago and both pans see daily use. They heat very evenly and have great build quality and are very easy to clean - while the non stick lasts. The smaller pan is still about perfect I can wipe it out with no effort and looks good as new , but the larger pan has gotten worse and worse with time, the bottom has dulled. It could be to occasional overheating while cooking which is hard to avoid when frying or braising. It still cooks OK but is hard to clean. I am considering getting a new one, but they are spendy and I had hoped to get more than 2 years.

**Q: so, are there sauce pan lids that will fit these frying pans? and who the hell thinks that a frying pan shouldn't come with a lid?**
A: To be fair, I believe a considerable number of people who are looking at buying these pans likely already own a Le Creuset set, so they likely already have lids that fit.  I'm here precisely because my Le Creuset set is hopefully the last set I'll ever have to buy, and I was hoping that maybe I could get the same out of non-stick pans.  I'm kind of happy that I can buy these for about $30 to $40 less because I don't have to pay for another lid to clutter up the cupboard.

**Q: Are these pans ptfe free?**
A: If it doesn't specifically say it, then it ISN'T.

**Q: Do these frying pans have a lifetime warranty?**
A: Great customer service

**Q: can olive oil be used in this pan?**
A: Yes.  No problem.

I just replaced my over 15 year old Le Creuset non-stick pans with this upgraded version of the same skillets. Quality is excellent. The heavy pans do take a couple moments longer to heat than thinner/cheaper pans, but the result is worth the extra time. They cook evenly and handle heavy heat and use very well. Although they are dishwasher safe, I plan on hand washing this set to extend their life. They are always pretty easy to wipe out and clean anyway. I found that dishwashing my last set seemed to not be great for the nonstick surface. I also second the suggestion from another reviewer to not use metal utensils. These pans are very durable - I use mine every single day! - but not impossible to ding up over time. Serving spoons are generally okay, but for actual stirring or cooking I stick to either wooden or silicone tools. You won't regret giving these pans a try. I love mine!
