Will it?** A: Only if the ladder is mounted under the platform. However, all the stress and weight of the person would then be placed on the nuts and bolts insead of the ladder lever and platform. It is best for the ladder to be installed on top like it was meant to be. **Q: How do the steps lock in to the rails?** A: Steve, Not sure what you are asking but I'll try to explain how they are constructed and attached. Each step is welded to two round telescoping poles. One step for each set of poles and two steps telescope in and out of the other poles. The Velcro strap stops the steps from telescoping, remove the strap to open the steps. The entire ladder is attached to a platform by two screws or bolts through a bracket for each side of poles. The poles pivot on a single bolt in the attachable brackets. **Q: Does the ladder hang down or does it follow the hull and go underneath? The ladder i have now angles under the boat and impossible to climb out .** A: This will not go under the boat. The ladder uprights come to a stop against the hinge brackets at the vertical position and will go no further. **Q: will this ladder fit a 2015 regal 2700ES swim platform** A: latter will fit any flat horizontal surface, that is strong enough on the edge to support 250 lb with six 1/4 in bolts. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente *by on Reviewed in Mexico 30 January 2024* Costo-beneficio insuperable, ya llevo 1 año y medio en constante uso y hasta ahora todo bien ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Calidad precio perfecto. *by on Reviewed in Spain 10 July 2018* Buen acabado y resistencia.
