My sister in-law had some of these spoons. Love them. So I got ourselves some too. Good price. Great mix of traditional porcelain asian spoon design in stainless steel.

A relative got me hooked on Asian romance movies. Now I binge them like chocolate. In one movie, a guy is mooning over a girl and is eating a huge bin of ice cream with this curvy large spoon. I then started noticing that style of spoon in most of the eating scenes. It was a soup spoon with a wider deeper bowl and a curved handle. No one spilled anything and it held wanton, veggies and noodles with no problem. I had to have it. These spoons are my first venture in to this style, and I like them a lot. So far I have eaten stews, cereals, rice dishes and more using the new spoons. I think If I could, I'd use them or everything. My only gripe is that the handle it shorter than I would like. But the weight of the spoon and quality and smoothness of the metal make up for the deficit.

these are the best soup sized spoons you can own . stainless steel. no more small little soup spoons. holds lots of broth and vegetables, beans, lentils, hot oatmeal, dry cereal and milk. apple sauce, ice cream . everyone loves them. gave as gifts.

Good spoons for soup. Even better for rice based foods.They work well, easy to clean, and are sturdy.

product feels heavy and durable.But the edge is Sharp.Spent some time to sand it. Then it feels better.

A different set I bought previously were gr8, light & thin, but would easily bend when the ice cream just out of the freezer was too solid. These are a bit thicker, tho' not as cumbersomely thick as the ceramic or re-usable plastic spoons, & tres chic, as they say in France :)

Serves the purpose and is of good quality.

Thin, light, and not as deep as advertised. Decent stainless, but cheap on workmanship.
