They fit in Green Mountain brand cups really tight, others are a little easier to snap on. What I don't care for is, due to the plastic being kinda thick, it takes too much pressure for the Keurig needle to pop a hole in it. So now, I take a small sharp nail and make a starter hole, then stick a small piece of scotch tape over it. Mostly you can reuse each lid a few times if the hole doesn't get butchered the first use. After 3-4 uses, the plastic starts to disintegrate and fall apart.Just passing on information. I'd probably buy again because 'someone' in this house keeps buying K-cups so decided I'd at least reuse those 3 or 4 times versus one use. Pretty soon I'm going to have to put these cleaned out k-cups in a box due to accumulation. Wish I could get her on board but some people can't handle even small changes. bummer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work great, but not consistent *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 19, 2013* I bought these to allow me to reuse the commercial coffee packs for my Mr Coffee- Keurig coffee maker. After using the commercial pack I simply pull the foil off the top, carefully remove the grounds (which I compost) and rinse the cup and filter. Some reviewers say you can reuse the cups 4 or 5 times, but I have reused most of mine over 10 times and they are still going. You have to be careful that you don't poke though the filter when clearing out the grounds. I tap out most and then gently run my finger around to loosen more, but some will always stay and need to be rinsed out. After the filter has dried I can refill with my own coffee and put one of these lids on. I have found that I can also reuse these lids several times.However, the thickness of the lids is not consistent. Some are thicker than others. The thick ones are harder to punch though and have a greater tendency to crack with reuse. My solution, which is not for everyone, is to drill a hole through the lids with a drill press before I first use them. This has allowed me to reuse the lids many more times.If you mainly want convenience, then don't bother to use these lids and refill. But if you want to minimize cost and reduce waste I highly recommend these lids as a way to acheive that and still get a good cup of coffee. I have tried several different systems with the filterless mesh screens as well as the Mellita filter system, but with all of those the water goes through too quickly and makes weak coffee, but at the same time lets some residue through. Going this way gives a great cup of coffee with any size cup or mug, and you can adjust the amount of coffee you use to give you just the strength you like. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By far, the best lid for recycling K-cups *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 23, 2014* I've tried many other methods of re-lidding k-cups, but none worked as well and reliably as these lids. I previously adapted the iron-on lids, but could not get a consistent seal. These have been 100% seal so far. The key is to build yourself a base that supports the rim of the re-cycled k-cup. This way, when you need to push hard to snap the lid, it doesn't buckle the base of the k-cup. It is an absolutely perfect press fit, and does not damage the k-cup. I'm imaging recycling both the lid and the base about 5 times, which brings the hardware cost to about 2 cents per cup. Add 8 cents per cup for the coffee grinds, and you have a highest quality cup of coffee for about 10 cents.For reference, I prepared 15 of these cups in 15 minutes; about one per minute. I have a setup of rigid base, funnel, and scoop that helps speed this up. So it takes time, but not excessive for 3-4 days' worth of coffee. There is also cleaning and recycling the k-cups, add another 30 seconds each. So it takes about 45 minutes per week to recycle and prepare the k-cups,For an average use of 5 cups per day for my wife and I, this saves about $40 per month ($15 vs $65) over buying new k-cups. I assumed 10cents vs 45cents per cup (times 150 cups per month). Depending on your consumption rate, For 3 hours' worth of work, you'll save $40 per month.
