## Description

Beam up to your next fan convention, costume event, fun run, or party in an officially licensed Star Trek costume from Rubie's. This blue and black shirt design is based on the one worn by Science and Medical Officers in The Next Generation series. IMPORTANT! Costume sizes are different than apparel, consult the Rubie's Adult Male size chart, Questions & Answers, and recent reviews before making a selection (don't choose based on clothing size). Shirt only, wear with your own pants or skirt.

Review: Love it!! - I am a high school science teacher and bought this for school costume event. The shirt is very well put together with strong double stitching and what seems to be a relatively durable fabric (not something to be worn everyday, but I expect that it will hold up well over many wearings). As others have stated, the metal rank insignia tend to weight the collar down a bit, but because there is a double layer of fabric around the collar I was able to cut small slits in the inside of the collar, slide strips of heavy weight paper card stock into the collar and pin the pips through it. My modifications allowed the collar to stay up even with all four Captain pips. The fit seems to be authentic as well since I found myself performing the "Picard Maneuver" on numerous occasions. The included communicator badge pin is plastic, as stated in the description and seems a little cheap in comparison to the metal rank insignia, but it does look reasonably good. It is certainly possible that a heavier comm badge would pull down on the shirt and not allow it to lay flat against the wearer's chest, so perhaps the plastic pin is in fact the best choice. I received a large number of compliments and I highly recommend this costume.
Review: No pips - So I received the uniform today, the uniform top itself is of a decent quality, very please with that, the comm badge is a low quality pin badge and I received no rank pips, so need to pay out again to receive something that I was assured would be in with the uniform. No self respecting Starfleet Officer is seen without rank insignia

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Not sure what size I should get . I wear a medium in ladies shirts**
A: They run snug. I went a size bigger. Glad I did.

**Q: Should I get a extra large if I wear a mens large, and are the pips and communicator removable?**
A: I'd go with a size bigger as well. Mine fit right but I understand why they tug them down all the time on the TV show. The pips and communicator are removable.

**Q: The female version isnt in come in plus size. i am a l in mens but an xl im womens very busty. does this costume work for women or is it tight chested**
A: I think if you are above a 40 B or C, you'll want an XL version, my boyfriend said this top had room in the chest and arm for him, he is a slim frame, but I haven't worn this top myself, I am trying it on it's very snug on me, I'm 160 lb's and about a 40 B, women's tops size 12. The black on this top is super slimming and so is the waist area. You may want to use/purchase high waist pants or skirt with the top

**Q: Do you have extra small size?**
A: Medium 40-42 40-42" 30-34" is the smallest

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great

Very well made, not cheap feeling like the walmart-type hallowe'en costumes. Take it away number one! Zips up the back which can be awkward, but over all nice!
