**Q: Is this suitable for 8mm thick boards**
A: Suitable for 5mm boards.

**Q: is this for 1 piece**
A: It is one piece yes

**Q: What's the maximum thickness of underlay to put below this profile? I mean this green underlay from pics which looks like 1.5-2mm**
A: Underlay should not be used on stair applications as it can debond and carries the risk of planks coming loose. I use a silicone based adhesive for the LVT and for the nosings before screwing them down.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks OK but could be better

Tidy enough product, but with 5mm flooring it sits flush and there's nothing to hold the flooring down. It needs a lip to go over it. Fortunately my flooring had a built in 1mm underlay, which I removed a strip of so the flooring was thin enough to wedge into the corner bead. Looks fine now.
