I used this with a CVF serpentine belt system. After running the motor for about an hour I backed into a parking spot. With the wheel turned all the way I lost steering. Fluid was pouring out of the back of the pump and after closer inspection it looks like the back of the pump just blew out and the case cracked. I can only assume with the wheel turned all the way it created enough back pressure in the system to cause the pump to fail. Shouldn't have happened if these units were properly constructed. Update: just received my CVF Racing American Made replacement. What a difference in quality for an extra $30. Wouldn’t consider buying this again after seeing how much better the CVF pump is made.

I hesitated to give this five stars. The reason I did is that it is a very nice pump. Very nice finish and solid part. The reason I didn't what to leave 5 stars is that the listing states the outlet fitting is 5/8. It's not. It's M16-1.5 O-ring fitting. Not a big deal but it requires additional purchase of the fitting and of course I bought the 5/8 first.

i wrote a review hoping they would care about a few bad reviews that is total product and no help was offered. im a week end mechanic and by the time i got everything to install it, of course it was too late, no more sending it back its too late, not easy to put on at all, but i managed . and i modified a few things. going to send something to place of business asking them why it just stopped working but no support. i am really surprised at the lack of follow up. now i have a chrome piece of crap and no power steering. if i could go no stars i would.

This pump failed after about 4 hours of use.. The company has avoided responding to me for a week after each email. They don't listen to the problem. I had to buy a new one because they don't stand behind their products. Never purchase from A-Team or SW Performance. Save time and money, but by from reputable companies.

This pump works as advertised and was easy to install after I transferred my fittings and bracket from my old pump. However, the pulley key was too large for my "non-stock" pulley, but the old key worked fine. So, don't discard the old pump, fittings, key until you dry fit the new pump. I did adjust the low pressure tube via a slight bend. Otherwise, installation to my 68 Camaro/383/Power Steering was accomplished without any issues. The entire pump is chrome so it looks nice in the engine bay! Thanks A-Team Performance.
