Review: Mmm... - I used this when making sticky ribs and my sauce came out simply delicious! Definitely hard to get the lid off (I like the other reviewer's suggestion of the microwave). It's very thick - I ended up using two spoons, one to scoop and one to scrape it off the other spoon. Nice amount of product - good for many dishes!

**Q: Is this the syrup?**
A: This is a Syrup. The consistency is not like honey but rather more like salt water  taffy . It does not  pour easily. The taste is good though

**Q: Does this contain MSG?**
A: No, this is sweet like candy.

**Q: The lid on the container is broken and there is a sticky mess.  It came in a soft package envelope.  It says no refund but this is not my fault. Refu**
A: Mine was slightly damaged also. I think Amazon should not support companies who do not accept honest refund claims.

They came very sticky and stuck to other things in the box, seal seems to be intact, when opening. Makes great Char siu pork or chicken, giving that sweetness and sheen to the meat.
