Fitting is not the issue. Carrying or pulling the weight you need is the real issue. Most standard bumpers are strong enough to carry a spare tire and store the sewer hose. If you plan to do more than this you will need someone who knows what they are doing to correctly engineer a thicker and/or reinforced bumper. I removed my stock bumper which was approximately .060 thick and replaced it with a 7/16 or .437 thick bumper. 7 times thicker...no problems for me. Doing this wrong or haphazardly could cause an accident and get someone killed. Good luck. **Q: what is the weight capacity of this one?? We are looking for one to tow a trailer with a bike on it** A: 3500lbs. Gross trailer weight, 350lbs. Max tongue weight. This is also dependent on the bumper you are attaching it to. I needed to reinforce my trailer bumper. **Q: Is this a 2" receiver?** A: Yes, as matter of fact, it is 2". **Q: I want to put the receiver on top of my bumper so does the tube or even the weld extend past the back plate?** A: works great on the back bumper of a camper you can turn it up or down dose not matter ## Frequently Bought Together - CURT 19100 Camper RV Bumper Hitch, Fits 4-Inch Beam, 2-In Receiver, 3,500 lbs - SafetyStruts Heavy Duty RV Bumper Brackets (1SSNHD, Std-Heavy Duty) - MaxxHaul 50023 Hitch Tightener Anti Rattle Stabilizer for 1.25" to 2" Hitches Reduce Movement On Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier Bike Rack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/277469028-curt-19100-camper-rv-bumper-hitch-fits-4-inch-beam](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/277469028-curt-19100-camper-rv-bumper-hitch-fits-4-inch-beam) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
