The official description (visible on my iPhone app, but not on laptop!?!?) says 27"x11.5"x7". But the actual measurements are a little different. The length is NOT 27". It's 25", or if you count where it bulges out, it's 26". The width is correct - 11.5". The thickness is 7" at its thickest in the middle, 6" at the edges. As my review stated, this bolster doesn't have perfectly straight edges so it puffs out *a little* in the middle. In comparison, the Hugger Mugger says its dimensions are 25"x 12"x6" so it's about the same. But the Hugger Mugger has straight edges and it's more of a perfect cuboid shape. It's also a little firmer than the Gaiam. But I like the Gaiam's fabric better - softer. So I didn't think I wanted to spend $22 more for the perfect one that is in the gym and I like this fabric better. For the gym, this fabric wouldn't hold up long, so it's better for personal use. Hope this helps. **Q: Has anyone used both this bolster and the one by hugger mugger? how does this one compare to the hm brand?** A: I originally purchased this one and returned it in favor of HM. This one isnt uniform in shape, and lumpy. I found it to be very uncomfortable. The HM one is fantastic. Really the top of the market. In another note, I also have one by Yoga Direct which isnt terrible. It's a little smaller in length, but has more depth. But it's pretty uniform, sturdy and isnt lumpy. **Q: What are the dimensions of the purple bolster?** A: 24.5" x 11" x 5" . It's very soft and well-made, *however* I should tell you that the pillow is not as nicely shaped as in the photo. Its edges are very irregular, not straight. I didn't bother returning/exchanging it because it's still functional. But I wouldn't give it as a gift or stock my own yoga studio with them **Q: Is this bolster firm or mushy?** A: It is firm, but not too firm.
