It has worked really well for us and helped us reduce our paper waste. Recently, my Grandmother was diagnosed with throat cancer, and the surgery required will remove her voicebox. In preparing for the future, and how she would communicate (she has never owned a cell phone, and doesn't understand texting), we thought this would be an excellent product for her to use. It's small enough to fit in her purse, she can quickly write down, erase, and rewrite, all without really having to learn new technology. She is very happy that we have found an easy way for her to communicate. I do like this newer version better than the one we keep at our front desk, as it has a place to hold the stylus, and it seems to clear more completely.
