## Description

ComStar’s Coil Safe is a Premium External neutral pH evaporator coil cleaner intended for indoors. Coil Safe will restore heat transferring qualities to 100% efficiency by removing lint, dust, dirt, and grease build-up on the aluminum fins without requiring any rinsing with water. Coil Safe is a non-foaming super concentrate that can be diluted with 3 to 10 parts water, depending on the level of cleaning required. Coil Safe cleans and brightens all metal parts and contains inhibitors to prevent metal fatigue. Coil Safe is a traditional green color, non-acid, non-alkaline, neutral pH, and environmentally safe formula! By keeping coils clean from dirt, natural body oil, dust mite, grease, the cooling action and efficiency of coils are greatly enhanced. Safe to use on aluminum and copper.

**Q: Coil safe is us made?**
A: This product is manufactured in the U.S. NOT China.

**Q: Will this work for a condenser outdoors AC unit?**
A: One other thing. This is made for the outdoor AC condenser coils. They DO make one specifically for the evaporator (usually indoors) coils. It's listed near the bottom of the page in the 'comparisons' section. I'd go with that for the evaporator.

**Q: Does Coil Safe dissolve hair and dust on the evaporator coil?**
A: Coil Safe is not formulated to dissolve hair or dust on an evaporator coil.   Evaporator coils are indoors and therefore, the chemicals used on evaporator coils must be safe and not corrosive.  Over time, indoor coils will get a buildup of greasy grime.  Coil safe is formulated to break down that buildup so it self-rinses off the coil as the liquid drains off the coil.  A soft brush or toothbrush can be used to loosen and wipe off very heavy buildup.

**Q: can this be used in condensate drain lines**
A: COIL SAFE is not a condensate pan drain opener.  It is to clean dirt and grime off of evaporator coils.  To clean out condensate pan drains use our CONDENSATE PAN DRAIN OPENER.  It comes in quart and 1/2 gallon size bottles; stock number 90-315 & 90-316 respectively.
