## Questions & Answers

**Q: how far down is the hour hand supposed to go. and how do you get it down? It seems tight and will not move down**
A: On mine the hour hand is about 6" and the minute hand is about 9". Didn't have a problem with mine not moving. I put the battery in and put the hands at the correct time and they started moving. If you have a hand that doesn't move, that's a defect in the equipment. You should ask for a replacement.

**Q: Do you have a 15mm (full length shaft) movement with 5" long minute hand?**
A: No

**Q: With second hand cap on my minute hand still moves like a second hand. Any recommendations?**
A: The most likely problem is a mis-match between the hands and the clock. There are different diameters of shafts and hands. If the hands are not part of the replacement clock kit , this is likely the problem.

**Q: I need a replacement minute nut. Do you have these available or do I need to purchase a new kit?**
A: Hello, about this item, one set includes 1 x Quartz clock movement, 1 x Second caps, 1 x Minute hand, 1 x Hour hand, 1 x Plastic washer, 1 x Brass washer, 1 x Brass nut, 1 x Metal hook, hope it can help you. Thanks.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value replacement clock mechanism - with BIG hands
*by N***G on 5 February 2026*

Ordered these to try and fix a broken wall clock in the kitchen. Was doubtful it would fit as the hands are BIG, but after carefully cutting the length of the point for the Hour hand, the installation was very easy, and now we have a working clock again.... Good value, easy to install, and keeps the time really well for what the unit actually is - this replacement unit actually seems more reliable than the original unit.
