That said, I was highly skeptical of these weird name knockoffs, but for $25 I figured it was worth a shot. First impression is that they feel like surprisingly good quality. The action is smooth, doesn’t feel loose makes a good crimp. It does not have a pin clip/gaurd which is fine you can just hold it by hand till the first click. However, you do have to be mindful of the wire placement as there is no gaurd to stop you from putting it in too far. Can’t say much for durability since I just got them. But honestly if these hold up even decently well, they should rebrand to something that doesn’t sound like a knock off and raise the price. So far so good. These crimpers are only good down to 20awg terminals. **Q: Does it crimp pico clasp 28awg to 32awg?** A: yes for smal cables is fine **Q: Can the Built-in contact positioner be removed?** A: If you mean the crimping dies, they are removable but no optional dies are available.
