I add it twice a year to the pelleted feed of miniature horses. Some will eat it willingly, and others won't. Sheep will eat it added to pelleted grain. Some alpacas will and some won't. It depends upon the animal. Fortunately, we don't need to do this often. The doses needed for alpacas are quite different than for other animals of the same weight.
