The pretty chain itself is holding but I might replace it with a sturdier one. The lockets themselves are substantial and gorgeous. The pads hold the scent for weeks if it's a high quality oil. First off, the locket is good quality with a solid back plate so that no oil can leak out the back edges and stain clothing. It's a beautiful soft rose gold color with an intricate laser-cut design in the top. Everything is smooth and rounded with no jagged edges to catch on clothing or skin. My mother was over-the-moon about this locket. She'd been wanting to try the whole essential oil movement for a while and was happy to get such a beautiful "starter locket" to try it out.
