The list of ingredients posted on the product page does not include barley malt extract, but the ingredients listed on the bags I received did (barley malt or barley malt extract is NOT considered gluten free). Had been looking for new foods to replace old standbys. This product I found to be very tasty. I mixed it with coconut milk unsweetened vanilla yogurt and a tablespoon of honey, and it was delicious. I also had a "snack attack" and ended up eating it from the bag, and it was satisfying and tasty. Since I'm counting calories as well, I noticed it's 160 calories for 1/4 cup of granola, so I'm using it sparingly. Also, I thought it was a little pricey, but you do get 2 12-oz bags, so it's not as bad as some. And besides, as my grandfather always said, you get what you pay for!
