Review: $300 Quality for $60 - I bought a pair of these 6 months ago when I took a job installing residential generators. I have used these cutters daily to cut 4/0 SER and SEU, and it continues to cut anything I throw at it with ease. There's no wear to speak of on the cutting edges and the ratcheting action still works great. These are just as good as the Greenlee cutters you'll get at a supply house for triple the price. I recommend them to everyone I work with, do yourself a favor and pick these up if you're doing any work with big cables.

I first bought the $27 variety. They nicked on first cut of copper/aluminum telephone cable. I then bought these, tested them on the same wire. No nicked blades here.
