It seems well made. I just haven't seen it spin. And, I haven't seen the center piece glow. There are outer glow pieces, and those do glow a bit, but not intensely. It's well made, sturdy and very pretty. Unfortunately, the angle at which the spinner is set does not allow it to turn freely (even tried lubricating it) without a very forceful wind. Also, a nearby streetlight is probably the reason the center globe does not illuminate at night.
