Review: Great for braid - I use this for Pollock and coalfish in the Hebrides, easily pulls in 2 foot specimens. The line is very durable, the only times I've had breaks have been when I've hooked rocks or seaweed and the braid broke before the leader. Highly recommend for anyone using braid as this will save you many a lure.

A: I have never read anything, anywhere stating otherwise. I agree that it seems to be too cheap to be any good but maybe we have just gotten used to paying too much for Seaguar?? Honestly, I keep spools of both brands in my leader bag and I have found the Daiwa to be at least as good as the Seaguar blue. But they do claim it and the Samurai fluoro are both made in Japan
