We have a small grey 8400 gallon pump. Our pool holds just over 8200 gallons. It just wasn't moving the water much. Time to upgrade. The 2800 pump was cheaper than the 2100 so I got the 2800 on sale. It's perfect. I thought it would be to powerful however I am thrilled for my choice. The water is moving nicely now. The pump was super easy to install. I watched the video. It was easy to follow. I did purchase an attachment kit but I didn't need it at all. The hoses i have are compatible. Keeping it, as its always nice to have extra pieces. The only pieces I will purchase will be the shut off valve for the intake hoses so I dont have to use the black stoppers when I empty the leaf basket. It is so quiet I have to keep checking if its on.
