It offers superior protection against weathering and lasts up to four times longer than traditional teak oils, ensuring your investment stays beautiful with minimal maintenance.

## Description

For other tropical hardwoods. Some hardwoods, like acacia, bangkirai, meranti, jarrah, nyatoh or red balau, are not light brown, but dark-brown or red-brownish. For these hardwoods, we recommend the use of our red-brown colored hardwood protector which maintains the natural, darker brown color of tropical hardwoods for a longer time. Off course the other teak care products (teak cleaner, patinizer and teak shield) are also suitable for these dark-brown hardwoods.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what if your teak is already grey /silver but hasnt been treated in years**
A: This product would not provide any benefit if your furniture is already grey

**Q: Well the product repel water? If not, can a product be applied over the instant gray to repel water? It would be for a shower bench.**
A: Instant Grey does not repel water. Glolden Care Teak Shield will help prevent water stains and water spots.

**Q: Would one bottle be enough for a 6 foot teak dining table?**
A: Yes, one bottle should be enough for one 6’ teak dining table. Start with a thin coat to ensure you cover the entire table.

**Q: how much do I need for 4 chaise lounges, 2 benches, a coffee table, a large square dining table and 8 dining chairs with cushions?**
A: About 4 bottles should be safe alough you might be able to get away with 3 bottles. In part, it depends upon the sizes of everything (i.e. are your benches 4’ backless benches or are they 6’ benches with a back?), as well as how many coats or the thickness of the coat you apply. Our recommend is to order a little more than you need as you don’t want to run out in the middle of your project. You an store any leftovers in a safe place and use them for touch-up or when you are ready to do the entire collection again.
