Especially the ear pads. The TH-02 ear pads are junk. Spend the extra $5. It’s well worth it. Plus, I found the 03 has a bit better clarity (especially in the highs) and the build quality overall is better. They are very good for the price. **Q: I had used th-02. what is different between th02 and th 03** A: I don't think the 03 is made by Tascam. If you go looking on Tascam's site, they don't list them as a product.
