Review: Great game set - Bought this recently, as my son learned chess, but wanted some other options, in case he gets bored or something that he can play with his younger sister. It's magnetic, not very strong on the pieces, but they do hold well. Size is decent and the chess can be folded with the pieces stored insight, but the other game sheets need to be stored somewhere flat, so it's a bit inconvenient if you want to ditch the box and keep it folded. Maybe of the sheets themselves were foldable as well, would have been better. Overall, great value for money and happy kids (for now).

I’m happy to say it’s actual chess, not a novelty version with altered “wizard chess” rules. What stood out to me right away is the thematic creativity. The Harry Potter design adds personality without getting in the way of gameplay, which makes it especially appealing for fans who still want a legitimate chess experience. The electronic tactile board works well once you understand how it responds to piece movement. I’ll be honest—the initial setup and learning curve took a bit of patience. The instructions aren’t immediately intuitive, and it took me a few tries to feel confident using it correctly. That said, once you get the hang of it, the game becomes very enjoyable, especially for players who already know how to play chess.
