And is there any plastic inside the valve?** A: I don't have the package anymore so I don't know where it's made. The only plastic is the silicone seals though, nothing but steel where the H2O flows. **Q: Exactly how far does the stainless steel spigot stick out from the berkey? Thank you!** A: About 2" for the spout and just under 3" for the handle. **Q: what is the diameter of the threaded tap? what size hole is it designed for?** A: the spigot is designed to fit holes 5/8"-3/4" (16-19mm) openings. I cannot tell you the exact diameter of the spigot, due to the fact that it is currently installed on my filter system. Hope this helps. **Q: I have the tru-view water level view spigot, can it be used with that (big berkey)?** A: Yes, it can be used with the Big Berkey System, you will need the 7.5" Version.
