**Q: Is there a list of all words included?**
A: There's not a list included. It's really a beginning reading level game but I've loved it. I like that they include things like "are" and "our" so we can talk about it. Here are some of the words to give you an idea: ride, with, said, us, did, up, one , not, get, say, who, his, our, are, no, want, into, please, go, so, yes, play, could, was, they, then, and, it, like, we, by, see, jump, pretty, you, now, will, when, well, big, ran, on, in, come, help, but, can, if all, her, I, am, must, here, she, today, run, some, look, is, make, soon, have, there, the, where, little, my, an, at, good, he, away, down, fun.

**Q: Would this be good for a kid who is just starting to learn sight words?**
A: I'd pull out the harder ones for a kid just starting to learn and start with the easiest (is / was / he / etc) so that the kid doesn't get frustrated with not knowing so many. I used to give my daughter a nickle for each one she got right, that motivated her to keep with it.

**Q: Are the popcorn pieces made of cardboard or plastic?**
A: The pieces are made of a hard cardboard.  They are very durable and of a size that can be easily handled by youngsters.

**Q: Do they use the dolch sight words? pre-primer, primer, and 1st grade?**
A: I use them all

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Schön gestaltet aber schnell langweilig

Wir besitzen recht viele Spiele von Learning Resources. Es ist generell eine Spielzeugmarke die Wert auf gute Qualität legt und aussergewöhnliches Lernspielzeug herstellt. Dieses Spiel kann entweder für Leseanfänger die der englischen Sprache mächtig sind oder für den Englischunterricht in der Grundschule benutzt werden. Es wird eine Karte (Popcorn) gezogen und diese wird von der jeweiligen Person vorgelesen. Ist das Wort richtig vorgelesen worden darf die Karte behalten werden, ist es falsch wird sie zurück getan. Sollte eine POP Karte gezogen werden, dann müssen alle gesammelten Karten wieder in die Dose geworfen werden. Wer am Ende die meisten Karten hat gewinnt! Die Karten sind liebevoll gestaltet (wie Popcorn) und der Eimer ist auch schön bunt. Das Spiel ist vollkommen aus fester Pappe und hält einiges aus. Die Farbe und der Druck ist klar und deutlich, nichts verschwommen oder falsch geschrieben. Warum also einen Punkt Abzug? Das Spiel wird leider sehr schnell langweilig. Wir haben uns dann andere Spielideen ausgedacht. Zum Beispiel spielen nicht nur mein Sohn und ich sondern noch mehrere Plüschtiere mit. Ich habe auch schon 10 Karten im Zimmer versteckt ; mein Sohn folgt "heiss oder kalt" Anweisungen um diese zu finden und dann vorzulesen. Fazit: Gekauft wurden das POP for Sight words von Learning Resources im November 2023 für €8,99 im Angebot. Das Spiel ist von guter und langlebiger Qualität auch wenn es aus Pappe besteht. Leider wird es doch sehr schnell langweilig und deshalb selten rausgeholt. Danke fürs lesen 😊
