A: Our sachets are created from a plant-based material called Soilon. More specifically, they are made using a Polylactic Acid (PLA) derived from plant materials that is 100% commercially compostable and certified safe by the FDA. Additionally, our sachets are sealed with sound wave technology, meaning there is no glue or staples present anywhere in our process. We have tested our sachet material through a 3rd party to ensure its safety, and most importantly, we assure you that our sachet is not comprised of PET plastic or nylon.

**Q: Is the Lord Bergamot tea available as decaffeinated?**
A: Check the smith tea website . They do have many decaf teas

**Q: Is the box 1.58 oz or 1.48 oz?  The headline says one thing and the picture of the box says another.**
A: The box is 1.48 oz- 15 tea sachets

**Q: Approximately how much bergamot per tea bag?**
A: I don't know but I can get around 3 cups of tea from 1 bag. I do not steep it for the 5 minutes recommended on the tea package.

I adore bergamot teas and bergamot in a diffuser. In my opinion, bergamot can do no wrong. Steven Smith Teamaker teas have become my new favorite tea. Although… I did order an assortment of teas. They were wonderful. I am not used to teas having black pepper so I did not read the list of ingredients. I tried two. Omg. I’m allergic to black pepper. An hour later I found out I ingested poison. It was so bad. But the tea tasted awesome! It smelled divine. It was dreamy. I absolutely loved them both. Really wonderful, interesting tea. It tasted and felt unique. Well, that may have been black pepper. While these Teamaker teas are delightful- read the ingredients list. Another lesson learned. This Lord Bergamot is out of this world. I typically stick to Twinnings, Bigelow, loose Japanese green teas and matcha. Steven Smith Teamaker- what a treat.
