The plug ins are behind the tail lights. Easy install and I would recommend them. **Q: Thanks hilltown, did you have a cargo light switch or did you have to install one?** A: Don’t need a switch it turns on with the oem switch **Q: Will this kit work if the truck does not have a cargo light?** A: Remove a tail light (either one) and there will be a connector for the lights to plug in. It will have a cap on it. **Q: What turns the lights on?** A: If you have the setting in your Truck to turn on the dome lights when ever you open the doors or unlock the truck the bed lights turn on as well when the dome lights go off bed lights go off. If you keep your interior lights on the bed lights stay on. ## Frequently Bought Together - LED Bed Light/Lighting Kit for 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 & Newer Toyota Tacoma Bed Type Replacement PT857-35200 - AUTOGINE Super Bright 6000K White LED Interior Light Kit Package for 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 Toyota Tacoma + Install Tool - Pukonger Tailgate Insert Letters Compatible with 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 3D Emblems with Strong 3-m Adhesive Matte Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/267979632-led-bed-light-lighting-kit-for-toyota-tacoma-2020-2021](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/267979632-led-bed-light-lighting-kit-for-toyota-tacoma-2020-2021) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
