Review: Took a long time to get but it works
Review: I primarily do wood working but have recently started wrapping some of the pieces of my projects in carbon fiber. I reached out to West directly to find out which product is best for what I am doing. 207 was it (combined with 105 resin). It mixes very easily, goes on smooth, flows well, and permeates the fabric without any issue at all. I was a little surprised at the pot time since it's far longer than i am used to. But that makes it even better when doing things like laminating composites since it gives you more time for adjustments. I really like it and I will continue using it for the foreseeable future.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this product be brushed on a vertical surface?**
A: The WEST SYSTEM 105 with 207 hardener can be challenging to brush on without getting sags or runs.  The best practice is to use a thin foam roller cover like our 800-2 to roll on a thin even coat and follow with a brush to smooth out the roller marks.

**Q: For filling voids, what's the maximum depth per pour?**
A: Not deep. It will overheat and bubble and crack. Unless void is thin. I've filled 2 inch deep voids but they were less than 3/16 thick. I've had overheating in as small as half inch by roughly 2 square inches.

**Q: Is this product ok to repair surfboards with?**
A: Not sure. I am using it for a cedar strip canoe. Perhaps check the west system web site or talk to their technical team

**Q: Is it 3 pumps : 1 ?**
A: The pump system is sold as a set...
