The directions were SUPER easy to follow, and I don't think I needed any additional tools (maybe a few allen keys?). It's been a couple of months, and I'm happy to report that this frame is still holding up really well. **Q: How long did it take to get both boxes? I onky recieved half of the items needed**
A: I have the same issue as others with having only one box showing up. Under the product details for a king size that it has 2 boxes 48.17 lbs for Box A and 52.03 lbs for Box B.  I received Box B and it says 36lbs that isn't the same as what you have listed, so something is missing or you have provided the wrong information on your product details.  When and where is Box A that puts the bed together I'm not able to do anything with Box B.

**Q: How high is the underneath of the bed? Floor to bottom edge**
A: The floor to the bottom of the edge of the frame is 6 inches, but once you get past that ledge, the floor to the wooden slats of the bed is 11 inches.

**Q: Can the interior metal framework be un screwed and taken out? I have an adjustable base that I need to place inside of the upholstered frame**
A: Did the adjustable base work with the frame? What did you have to do?

**Q: What size mattress do you recommend?**
A: I got a 12” for the queen size. It is just right to cover the headboard gap.

I bought this 2 years ago and I’m just as in love with it as when I first got it. So everyone looking to check on longevity, here it is. The day I bought it was the day I was determined to put it together. The boxes were big and heavy but I was able to drag them upstairs. Once I got the boxes open, the bed doesn’t really have that many pieces to it so I was able to put it together in an hour by myself (including a dance break and a beer run). Since I’ve put this bed together, it’s stayed just as is. I haven’t had to tighten it, adjust anything, nor replace anything. This thing is SOLID. It stands up to a lot of use and abuse. The weight capacity is great because it takes a 115 lb dog, a 10 lb dog, and a 20 lb dog along with a 125 lb women and a 240 lb man. Buy it. This was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s picture perfect and I’m glad I took the risk Update: Year 4 and this bed frame has lasted longer than most of my relationships 😂 Still no creaking or shifting. Incredibly easy to maneuver for cleaning. The only downside is the upholstery does get dog hair trapped in it. That’s not the bed’s fault, it’s holding up quite well under the onslaught and pretty easy to clean with one of those pet hair scrapers.
