Here was the complaint- I had left a black rubber garden hose on top of the garage months after applying the sealant- maybe it was up there in the middle of August for 3 weeks- Well when I went to remove the hose it was stuck to the roof - It was not that hard to pry it away but it actually left kind of a stain on the roof. So my bad for leaving the hose there but I did not expect that. We are sealing our new concrete pond with this product = will not have fish in** A: New concrete needs to cure as per the installation instructions. Applying any of the Liquid Rubber products or most waterproofing products prior to a full cure may compromise the curing process of the concrete. **Q: I have a black plastic pond i got from home depot. will it adhere to that material?** A: Yes, put a few coats on. Let each coat dry well (24)hrs . You can spray on inside of pond. I used a undercoating product used for undercoating cars for the outside of pond. I put 3 coats on. I let each coat dry for 2 days before applying the next coat. All worked great my pond is like new and no leaks and all of my goldfish are fat and happy! Good luck! Take your time and cover every spot even sides. Make sure the pond is very clean before u start applications. I used a ruff kitchen pot scrubber to scrub clean. **Q: Does this project leave much of an odor after it has set?** A: Haven't smelled any odor. When putting it on there is a usual rubber smell like a basketball, but it doesn't seem to last very long. And it smells just like putting rubber on, which wasn't bad. I was used to those roof sealers made out of tar that never really dried, but just dried out. This product dries to a phenomenal rubber shield and it sticks to anything it comes in contact with. A slight word of caution. It took me several hours to clean out my spray gun after unsuccessfully trying to spray it with my airless sprayer. There seems to be no mention of any product that will act as a solvent for removal. Baby oil, patience and elbow grease is what it needed. After the spray gun fail, I purchased and threw out afterwards, some cheap dollar store brooms for application on my courigated metal roof.
