Review: Long lasting replacement batteries for CyberPower UPS - These replacement batteries do quite well in my CyberPower UPS units that I have spread all over the house (it might be cheaper in the long run to get a whole house UPS, but I never have that much unallocated funds available at one time). They have ridden my computer and other electronics through many midwestern storms, and since the feed from Indiana Michigan Power is inconsistent at best, these things tend to get a lot of exercise in my house. They are not the cheapest available on desertcart, but I'm afraid to try these off brands that are advertised at lowball prices. For the cost of replacing my computer or entertainment equipment, I'll pay a little extra and get what I know works. Review: Excellent battery. - Excellent battery. Don't buy a whole new UPS, just change the battery for a lot less. Changing the battery only takes a few minute. Great value. ## Features - SEALED LEAD-ACID BATTERY: Supplies high surge currents, provides robust power-to-weight ratios, and cost effective; MAINTENANCE-FREE BATTERY FLUID: Never requires replacement - USER-INSTALLABLE CARTRIDGE: Allows for quick and convenient installation; each cartridge is pre-assembled; The RB1290 comes in reusable packaging for delivering expired batteries to recycling centers - Compatible with these CyberPower models: CP1000AVRLCD, CP1000PFCLCD, CP1000PFCLCDTAA - 18-MONTH WARRANTY: Covers defects in materials and worksmanship in the product under normal use and conditions within eighteen months of the purchase date ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009ACPC7K | | Amperage | 9 A | | Battery Average Life | 3 years | | Battery Cell Composition | Lead Acid | | Battery Cell Type | Lead Acid | | Best Sellers Rank | #68,315 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #129 in 12V Batteries | | Brand | CyberPower | | Color | Black | | Connector Type | DB | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,265 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Plastic | | Form Factor | Battery | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00649532609307 | | Input Voltage | 12 volts | | Item Dimensions | 2.56 x 5.94 x 3.86 inches | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 2.56"D x 5.94"W x 3.86"H | | Item Weight | 2.7 pounds | | Lower Temperature Rating | 32 °F | | Manufacturer | CyberPower Systems | | Material | Plastic | | Maximum Power | 108 watts | | Mfr Part Number | RB1290 | | Model Number | RB1290 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Output Current | 9 A | | Output Voltage | 12 volts | | Output Wattage | 9 watts | | Product Dimensions | 2.56"D x 5.94"W x 3.86"H | | Runtime | 14 hours | | Specification Met | No | | UPC | 649532609307 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 113 °F | | Voltage | 12 volts | | Warranty Description | 18 months | | Wattage | 9 | ## Product Details - **Battery Cell Composition:** Other Than Listed - **Brand:** CyberPower - **Color:** Black - **Product Dimensions:** 2.56"D x 5.94"W x 3.86"H - **Voltage:** 12 volts ## Images ![CyberPower RB1290 UPS Replacement Battery Cartridge, Maintenance-Free, User Installable, 12V/9Ah - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61wIojCTzdL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Long lasting replacement batteries for CyberPower UPS *by B***R on May 30, 2026* These replacement batteries do quite well in my CyberPower UPS units that I have spread all over the house (it might be cheaper in the long run to get a whole house UPS, but I never have that much unallocated funds available at one time). Don't buy a whole new UPS, just change the battery for a lot less. Changing the battery only takes a few minute. Great value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Battery was very easy install, came 70% charged out of the box. *by G***E on July 19, 2026* Battery arrived well packaged and in good condition. Took 5 minutes to remove the old dead unit and put this new Cyberpower-branded battery in my 6 yr. old 1000 w. unit. Slid right in, power cables connected zippy-zap and sealed the case up. Plugged in and power on, battery already at 70$ and now charging up. Most painless install I've done in a long time. Hope this battery lasts as long as the old one. ## Frequently Bought Together - CyberPower RB1290 UPS Replacement Battery Cartridge, Maintenance-Free, User Installable, 12V/9Ah - CyberPower RB1290X2 UPS Replacement Battery Cartridge, Maintenance-Free, User Installable, 12V/9Ah - CyberPower RB1280X2B UPS Replacement Battery Cartridge, Maintenance-Free, User Installable, 12V/8Ah --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/26618293-cyberpower-rb1290-ups-replacement-battery-cartridge-maintenance-free-user-installable](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/26618293-cyberpower-rb1290-ups-replacement-battery-cartridge-maintenance-free-user-installable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
