My girlfriend, who's also into as much organic as possible, pointed me in the direction of this brand. I contend that people who complain about this product are not used to eating raw pineapple. They are used to whatever the "big name" label gives them. Perhaps the company cuts the fruit just a hair closer to the rind than the other "big name" company does, but there is NOTHING WRONG WITH NATIVE FOREST PINEAPPLE. It is tasty, sweet and tart, and the juice is UNFILTERED (perhaps that's why people grouse about the juice being "gritty"). I enjoy the juice as well as the fruit, and find no grittiness to it. I have never had dented cans, either. In conclusion, I would recommend this product to anyone, wholeheartedly.
