A: I believe they are certainly sharp enough; however, if I was cutting my baby's umbilical cord I would want to use something a little more delicate....

**Q: has anyone tried to cut up a credit card with these--or know if they would do the job?**
A: Hey, literally just tried this for you and I'm surprised to say it works fairly well! First attempt did cause the card to flick parallel with the blades and fall out, second attempt cut her straight in 2. Took a video of me doing it, could email you if you wanted to see it. For novelty scissors, they are darn sharp! Only thing is they are awkward to use given their size, makes it hard to hold something and use 2 hands to operate the scissors (compared to 1 with normal scissors)
